When this small subdivision in Anglemont came into being some 34 years ago, it was decided by the 10 owners to form a Company. They obtained the services of a lawyer and the company was legally registered with the registrar of companies as Cedar Terrace Cottages Ltd. This is much like Strata property is done today. Each lot comes with a registered lot certificate of ownership. The company continues to be run successfully in the same manner today.

Fees have been kept to a minimum. In 2008 they were $400 per year per family. This $400 pays for the water utility for summer residents for five months of the year, land taxes, liability insurance and maintenance contingency for roads, etc.
